BIOGRAPHY

Lane Walkup (b. 1987) is a sculptural artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her body of work ranges from large scale installations to small wearable forms. Lane bends and welds steel into illustrative shapes, forming new stories by re-creating everyday objects. From forging steel to sewing recycled panty hose, she has 12+ years of experience creating sculptures in varying mediums. Lane is an active, exhibiting artist with a large body of work, including installations ranging from 27 ft., to most recently creating a pair of silver glasses for Beyonce's newest album.
